POP Pilates® is an intense mat-based total body workout choreographed to pop music. It challenges students to rhythmically flow from one exercise to the next, developing a solid core while leaving no muscle untouched. While POP Pilates® moves all originate from classical Pilates, the class design, relationship with music, sequencing and reps, differ from reformer classes and traditional mat classes. The emphasis on moving to the beat makes each class feel like a “dance on the mat.” Students get to train their strength, balance, flexibility, agility, coordination and cardio fitness in this 45-minute workout. All genders & beginners are welcome!
